Since appearing on his first magazine cover in 1939, Dr. Bob has spent over 65 years helping tens of thousands of people achieve proven, dramatic results with a celebrated method that combines expert training advice and sound nutritional counseling. His expertise was recognized by NASA who recruited him to provide the physical and mental health programs to the first two sets of Apollo 11 astronauts. During the Lyndon Johnson administration he was on the President’s Council of Physical Fitness.

After WWII, Bob was in Hollywood, but didn’t feel very comfortable in acting roles. Since he had a naturopathic doctor’s degree, he became the doctor of the “Stars!” Bob also became a part owner/operator of Executive Health Clubs International, which operated 500 health clubs worldwide.

Dr. Bob cites a highlight of his career as, “working with Jack Dempsey (one of the greatest fighters ever) and thanks the following people: Joe Weider for helping me build my image as it is today. Ray Wilson for letting me work with him as his partner. Dick Minns for his great innovative ability in helping me market myself. Rocky Marciano, for letting me train him for the Jersey Joe Wolcott fight. And the millions of people that I’ve helped to a better way of life.”
